Porsche 956
Introduced in 1982, the Porsche 956 dominated Group C endurance racing. Powered by a 2.65L twin turbo flat six, it produced around 620 to 640 PS depending on boost. Weighing just about 800 kg, it used ground effect aerodynamics to generate enormous downforce, making it brutally fast through corners. The iconic Martini Racing livery became inseparable from its Le Mans victories. A machine that rewrote endurance racing history almost overnight.
